My Career in Computing - 46 years and counting!: A career in computing can provide a rich and fulfilling life. You don't have to just sit in front of a computer all day. I will explain how computing has given me the opportunity to work on automatic landing systems for commercial aircraft (including three months at Boeing flight testing the hardware), how that led to designing high-performance computer graphics hardware for commercial flight simulators, to teach computer science and engineering at a university, and even the opportunity to live and work for six months in France.
